About the Event

Celebrating the 350th Anniversary of Rákóczi Ferenc’s Birth
The Futóverseny II is set to honor the legacy of Hungarian national hero, Rákóczi Ferenc, with an invitational race that welcomes both professional and amateur runners. Participants are encouraged to register early by adhering to the competition rules upon signing up and paying the registration fee.
Competitors will have the opportunity to collect their bib numbers either through online pre-registration or at the event venue on race day for those who prefer a last-minute sign-up. Detailed information about each race distance, including maps and course profiles, is available to assist runners in preparing for this special occasion.
The age classifications are based on the runner’s age as of 2026, ensuring fair competition across different generations. Race organizers also allow for transferability of registrations and modifications to registration details under certain conditions, providing flexibility for participants who may need adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances.
This event promises a unique blend of historical significance and athletic challenge, set against the backdrop of Rákóczi’s enduring impact on Hungarian history. Runners will experience not only an engaging race course but also a vibrant celebration that honors one of Hungary's most revered figures.
