Race for Space 2.5k, 5k &10k

On March 20, 2027, runners of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in Warrenton's Northern Piedmont Sports Club Race. Nestled in the heart of Virginia’s northern Piedmont region, this community-focused event offers a scenic route through historic Warrenton, featuring lush green spaces and charming local landmarks.
This year, race organizers have expanded their offerings with a new 2.5K option for families and young athletes looking to enjoy a shorter but equally engaging course alongside the traditional 5K and 10K races. The event not only celebrates athletic achievement but also supports Northern Piedmont Sports Club’s mission of enhancing child and community wellness through sports.
Participants will have the opportunity to experience the vibrant atmosphere as they run past Warrenton's picturesque parks, historic buildings, and friendly neighborhoods. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, this race promises an unforgettable day in one of Virginia’s most charming towns.
The event is organized by Northern Piedmont Sports Club, which has been dedicated to providing recreational and competitive sports opportunities for communities across the northern Piedmont region since its inception. Join us on March 20th as we come together to celebrate fitness, community spirit, and a love of sport in Warrenton.
