Discover the enchanting beauty of Qushan Island on September 26, 2026, for an unforgettable adventure at the Qushan Island Coastal and Mountain Trail Race. This unique race offers two exciting courses: the Dawn Chaser (24KM) and the Light Pursuer (13KM), both set against a backdrop of stunning natural scenery.
On September 25th, runners will gather on Double Dragon Beach for registration and gear pickup in the evening. The highlight of this day is an enchanting moonlit celebration featuring a bonfire party where participants can enjoy live music, refreshments, and camaraderie under the full moon's glow.
The race itself kicks off early on September 26th at 5:30 AM with both courses starting simultaneously from Double Dragon Beach. The Dawn Chaser course spans an actual distance of 24.3 kilometers, featuring a cumulative elevation gain of 878 meters and concluding by 11:00 AM. This route challenges runners through varied terrain including rugged coastal paths and steep mountain trails.
Meanwhile, the Light Pursuer offers a slightly shorter journey at 12.5 kilometers with an ascent of 394 meters before reaching its finish line by 8:30 AM. Both courses are designed to showcase Qushan Island's diverse landscapes, from pristine beaches to lush forests and rocky cliffs.
With scenic views around every turn, participants will experience the island’s unique blend of natural beauty and cultural charm. The race is limited to a total of 500 runners on a first-come-first-served basis, so early registration is recommended for those wishing to secure their spot in this special event.
