Pup Running is an exciting opportunity for all 4th and 5th graders at CCS to participate in the world of cross-country running. The series consists of three meets held on consecutive Tuesdays: September 9, 16, and 23, 2026, starting promptly at 5:30 pm each evening at Northview's scenic XC course. Registration for this exclusive event is now open with a cost of $20 plus processing fees. Participants have the option to purchase a customized team t-shirt for an additional $10. Each shirt features a unique design specific to your school and will not be available after registration closes on August 20th, so act quickly if you want one. The practice schedule tailored specifically for each school club will soon be posted online once determined by the coaching staff. Make sure to check back regularly for updates as practices begin leading up to the first meet. When registering, select your school from the drop-down menu to ensure accurate team assignments and personalized t-shirt designs. The email you provide during registration will receive confirmation of sign-up along with important season updates and race results throughout the series. Please note that there is no late registration—registration closes on August 20th—and final rosters are sent to schools by August 22nd, ensuring a smooth start for all participants. Due to safety concerns, changes to these finalized lists cannot be accommodated during the busy school dismissal times. The Pup Running season moves quickly from start to finish; therefore, once registration closes and bibs, t-shirts, and ribbons are ordered, no refunds will be issued.
