About the Event

Celebrate a milestone in grassroots ultrarunning at Welcome Way, the 100th event from Punk Panther, on Saturday, 14th March 2026. This versatile trail challenge, starting from the historic market town of Otley, offers four distinct distances along the scenic Welcome Way trail, allowing you to choose your perfect spring adventure from a half marathon to a demanding 50-mile ultra. True to the organizer's renowned ethos, expect a no-fuss, community-focused atmosphere with robust support including live trackers, well-stocked checkpoints, and hearty homemade food at the finish. With ITRA/UTMB points on offer for the longer distances and a welcoming policy for both dogs and safety support runners, it balances serious trail credentials with genuine inclusivity. Whether you're chasing a qualifier or simply a grand day out in the Yorkshire Dales, this centenary event is built on a legacy of passion, making every finisher part of a very special story.
