About the Event

Billed as a very easy-going run for all ages and abilities, this Imperial Palace event lets people join on the day and even arrive a little late. Distances range from one lap (about 5K) through two laps (about 10K) to four laps (about 20K), and there is also a 20K relay. Runners may change distance during the run, shortening it when tired or extending it when they want more. Organizers add, with some humor, that quitting and heading home by train from Takebashi is the one thing they would rather not see. The meeting point is near the clock tower inside Sakuradamon in Chiyoda.
