The Prairie Burn 100 will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Grinnell, Iowa. This annual gravel bike ride offers routes of 100 km, 50 km, and 25 km, plus a 5 km and 3 km fun run. The event is fueled by Grinnell State Bank and includes a beverage garden, live music, food trucks, yoga in the park, a farmers market, and family‑friendly art activities.

All participants must follow event rules. Helmets are required for all bike riders. Obey all traffic laws — the course is open to vehicle traffic. Riders must know how to fix a flat or ride with someone who does, carry a cell phone, and have a bailout plan. Official timing ends at 3:30 PM; bailout support ends at 5:00 PM. E‑bikes are welcome but not eligible for awards. No littering; be discreet with nature breaks. The event runs rain or shine (fun run may become a mud run).
Aid stations: at 10 miles (with van bailout option), 25 miles (Central Park), 35 miles, 50 miles (Central Park), and a roving aid station at 75 miles.
Burner Challenge Segments: two segment challenges located on the first and second 25 miles. Participants must use Strava to record times. Winners (male, female, non‑binary) receive $50 each. Verification at 3:00 PM.
100 Mile Challenge Cup results verified by PB100 Race Director Committee.
Fun run course is clearly marked; volunteers stationed along the route. Start/finish line is shared with cyclists. Runners stay in the designated chute on the RIGHT side of Park Street (cyclists on the left).
Family activities: Yoga in the Park (8:30–9:30 AM, all ages, free), Farmer's Market (9:30 AM–12:00 PM), Storytime Art in the Park (10:30 AM–12:00 PM, free hands‑on art and literacy activities, no registration required).
Beverage garden by Old Fashioned Spirits (11:00 AM–3:00 PM) offering beer and wine. Food by Grinnell College Catering. Live music by Ruari Brownell and band (11:30 AM–2:30 PM) in Central Park. A restaurant guide for Grinnell is available for download.
