Nestled in the heart of Slovenia's stunning natural landscape, Podbrdo Village offers runners a unique blend of history and breathtaking scenery. The origins of this mountain run trace back to 1970 when it first emerged as an inaugural event in the country’s rich running tradition. Participants will traverse through the Baška grapa valley, surrounded by the majestic Bohinj hills and the rolling Škofja Loka hills. This challenging course features a mix of high-altitude trails and hilly terrain, providing runners with both steep ascents and picturesque descents. The event promises an unforgettable experience for those who appreciate the beauty of Slovenia's natural wonders while pushing their physical limits.
