About the Event

Plains High School Track and Cross Country Fund Raiser.

These funds will help support our local track and cross-country teams. A number of athletes will be helping coordinate, setup, and run the race.

Funds will help support team coolers, travel costs for post-season, and local scholarships.

Select athletes will be 'Rabbits' during the race and will run a pre-designated time to help you meet your 5K goals.

Packet Pick-up and Race-Day registration (cash or check) will be at 8am at the start line (Near the Boat Launch)

The course will be a 5K Loop starting and finishing at the boat launch. We will also have a kids 1 mile run that will start at 10:30. The Lions Club pancake feed will be at the fairgrounds until noon. The fairgrounds will also be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 1pm.

Current PHS Track Athletes who are helping with the race get free entry. Please use the "contact" button to send Name, Birthday, and Shirt Size.

Plains is a town in Sanders County, Montana, United States. The population was 1,106 at the 2020 census. It was founded as Horse Plains and sometimes called Wild Horse Plains, as the local Native Americans would winter their horses here to feed on the grasses in the valley. The name was later shortened to Plains when the US Postal Service established a presence in 1905.
