Pinwheels & Purpose 5K- Every Child Deserves a Safe Childhood. Every Step Matters. Every Child Matters.

Join the Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer County for our inaugural Pinwheels & Purpose 5K on Sunday, April 25, 2027, as we come together during National Child Abuse Prevention Month to make every step count!

Pinwheels represent the happy, healthy, and safe childhoods that every child deserves. This event is more than a race—it's a community coming together with a shared purpose: to raise awareness, strengthen prevention efforts, and help build a future where every child feels safe, supported, and protected.

Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or a family looking to make a difference, every step you take helps support the CAC's mission of preventing child abuse, supporting children and families, and creating a safer community for generations to come.

Every child deserves a safe childhood. Every step matters. Every child matters.

Together, let's turn miles into meaningful change, one step at a time!
