Petzl Night Trails 10K - Coombe Abbey

Experience the enchanting Coombe Abbey Park, located on the outskirts of Coventry and just minutes away from Junction 2 of the M6, as you embark on an unforgettable night run. This unique event challenges runners to navigate through woodland paths, meadows, and grass fields under the guidance of powerful head torches provided by Petzl.
The course winds its way through varied terrain with exposed tree roots, uneven surfaces, and a few gates along the route. Despite these obstacles, the running remains enjoyable thanks to the stunning views that accompany each step. The undulating nature of the path offers a mix of elevation changes but is far from hilly, making it an ideal setting for runners looking to explore under the cover of darkness.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own high-quality head torches or test out Petzl’s demo kit available on-site before, during, and after the event. The evening promises a thrilling adventure as you start your journey in fading daylight but continue well into nightfall when head torches become essential.
Parking at Coombe Abbey Park is convenient with nearby facilities like toilets next to the HQ making it easy for runners to prepare and rest. Entry fees vary depending on booking time, offering discounts if registered before August 30th, 2025. Unaffiliated entrants can save by joining local running clubs or signing up through the Big Bear Brigade.
Water stations equipped with biodegradable cups are strategically placed along the route to ensure hydration during your run. For those who wish to contribute further, there's an opportunity to raise funds for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, supporting seriously ill children across the UK.
