About the Event

Registration is open until 9:15am at the Knights of Columbus!!!

This years event will include a 5 mile scenic run through the village of Wappingers Falls. The course is now USATF certified! We will also have a Kids One Mile Run. Both races start and finish at the Knights of Columbus Hall in downtown Wappingers. This will be the 44th anniversary of this classic race.

5 mile race is $20 if pre-registered and $25 the day of the race. Kids 1 mile is FREE if pre-registered and $10 the day of the race.

MHRRC Members receive a $5 discount only if pre-registered.

We have been in touch with the North Pole and we plan to have a special appearance from SANTA himself. He will be around for the kids race and afterwards for pictures in the Knights of Columbus Hall.

The first 200 registered 5 mile runners will receive a holiday winter hat! Check out the new design below and be sure to register early, these were a huge hit last year!

Registration/Bib Pickup will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall starting at 8:00 AM with the kids one mile at 9:15 AM followed by the 5 mile at 9:30 AM.

Wappingers Falls is a village in the towns of Poughkeepsie and Wappinger, in Dutchess County, New York, United States. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 5,522. The community was named for the cascade in Wappinger Creek. The Wappingers Falls post office covers areas in the towns of Wappinger, Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, East Fishkill, and LaGrange. This can result in some confusion when residents of the outlying towns, who do not live in the village, give their address as "Wappingers Falls".
