Peder Skram Løbet 2027

Join us on May 29, 2027, for the annual Peder Skram Løbet in Østbirk, where runners of all ages and skill levels gather to celebrate community and fun. This charming Danish town offers a picturesque backdrop with serene landscapes and tranquil paths that cater to both beginners and experienced athletes.
The event features four distinct routes: 2.5 km (perfect for families), 5 km walk, 10 km run, and the half marathon covering 21.1 kilometers. The shorter distances are ideal for young children, families with strollers or wagons, and new runners looking to ease into longer distances. As you progress towards the longer routes, the scenery expands beyond Østbirk's cozy streets into the surrounding countryside, blending asphalt roads with gravel paths and natural trails.
The half marathon route takes participants through some of the most beautiful stretches near Østbirk, including a stop at the recently rediscovered bridge that adds an extra layer of historical charm to your run. Throughout each course, clear markings and volunteer support ensure safety and guidance for all runners. Water stations are strategically placed along key points to keep you hydrated.
No matter which distance you choose, expect a scenic, safe, and festive atmosphere that captures the spirit of Peder Skram's adventurous legacy. We look forward to seeing you at the starting line!
