Pedal in the Pines (formerly Rock-N-Ride)

Explore the scenic Sam Houston National Forest on one of two exhilarating routes—28 miles or 52 miles. Both courses are predominantly paved, with some sections featuring loose gravel to add an authentic trail experience. The ride is scheduled rain or shine, ensuring a memorable adventure regardless of weather.
Mark your calendar for November 8th; day-of registration kicks off at 6:00 AM. Secure your spot by registering before October 31st to guarantee a race shirt—a perk that may not be available if you sign up later in the month.
Safety is paramount, with police escorts from Cleveland to the start of each route and continuous law enforcement presence throughout both paths. Route markers are abundant for clear navigation, while multiple SAG vehicles are stationed along the way to offer support when needed.
Fuel your journey at four well-stocked rest stops offering refreshments. Whether you choose the shorter 28-mile course or opt for a longer challenge on the 52-mile route, both options promise an unforgettable ride through nature's beauty.
