About the Event

Billings Parks and Recreation is hosting a 2k and a 5k run/walk in Mountview Cemetery. All run proceeds will support veteran funeral services in Mountview Cemetery's Veteran section, and maintenance of our Veterans sections.

2k Race starts at 12:00 and the 5k Race starts at 1:00pm

PACKET PICK UP 10:30-12:30 near the start/finish line

First 150 to sign-up are guaranteed to receive a race shirt. Sign-up by September 6th, 2024, to ensure we have your desired size.

Parking area will be provided in section 15 of Mountview Cemetery. Enter the cemetery through the back gate on Industrial Ave. All other cemetery entrances will be blocked off.

About Billings

Billings is the largest city in Montana in Yellowstone County, with an estimated 110,000 people (2019). As a destination, Billings does a significant amount of convention business and is also the host to various regional events such as music festivals, athletic contests, rodeos, and outdoor activities. Billings hosts the largest hospitals in a 500-mile radius, as such the medical profession is a major source of employment in the area. Billings also is a frequent overnight or meal stop for westbound visitors to Yellowstone National Park, as it is the last major city for visitors going to the park via the Beartooth Highway.
