Pacifico Ultra

The Pacifico Ultra is a high-altitude trail running event scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, California. This springtime adventure, produced by the organizers of the Bulldog Ultra, takes runners through the rugged San Gabriel Mountains with routes that reach elevations up to 7,100 feet. The event serves as a "Sterling Silver Ticket Race," providing the top two male and female finishers in the 50k with guaranteed entry into the 2026 Angeles Crest 100-mile Endurance Run.

Event Logistics and Participant Information:

• -- Race Location & Access: The race site is located at Mill Creek Summit. Note that the site is drop-off only; all participant parking is off-site at the Pearblossom Park & Ride. Shuttle vans will transport runners to the start line every 10 minutes starting at 5:15 AM.
• -- Cupless Policy: In accordance with wilderness conservation efforts, all SoCalTrail races are cupless. Runners must carry their own hydration systems (bottles or bladders).
• -- Aid Stations: The 50k course features nine expert aid station stops, while the Half-Marathon includes three. A drop bag location is available for 50k runners at Mile 14.9 (Three Points).
• -- Finish Line Amenities: Participants receive free race photography, a post-race festival featuring local tacos (with vegan options), hot and iced coffee, and sports massage services.
• -- Registration Deadlines: Registration officially closes on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT.

Awards and Competitive Tiers:

• -- Course Record Bonus: A $500 bonus is offered for breaking the current 50k records: 4:11:07 (Men) and 5:17:38 (Women).
• -- Overall Prizes: Winners of the 50k receive free entry and flights to the Mar a Mar stage race in Baja, while Half-Marathon winners receive race entries.
• -- Trail Half Series: The Pacifico Half-Marathon is the 4th race in a 6-race series. Finishers of at least 3 races are eligible for series standings and raffle prizes for season passes.
• -- Podiums: Collectible awards are given to the top three overall finishers (Male, Female, and Non-Binary) and the top three in 10-year age group categories.
• -- Professional Discounts: Firefighters and active Race Directors are eligible to race for free by contacting the organizers with valid identification.
