Lace up your running shoes and join us for the inaugural Owens Cross Roads PTO Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run! This family-friendly event brings our community together to kick off the holiday season with fitness, fun, and school spirit.

Event Details

Start/Finish: 161 Wilson Mann Road, Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763

Course: A scenic 5K loop through the Owens Cross Roads community (walker and stroller friendly).

Fun Run: A shorter 1-mile kid-friendly race for our youngest trotters.

What to Expect

Free race T-shirt for the first 100 registered participants (T-shirts have been exhausted as of 11/13/2025) THANK YOU!!
Professionally timed 5K race (Fleet Feet)
Prizes for top finishers in multiple age groups
Proceeds support Owens Cross Roads Elementary PTO programs, events, and student activities
Food Trucks and Vendors will be set up afterwards, for you to enjoy post race

Owens Cross Roads is a city in Madison County, Alabama, United States, and is included in the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. It was incorporated as a town on October 9, 1967, and later met the city threshold of 2,000 population in 2020, later changing its destination to city on October 10, 2022. The population was 2,594 at the 2020 census. It is home to Brazelton Cemetery.
