COURSE INFORMATION:
Starting at the visitor center, we travel across the dam first (.7 miles road with large gravel shoulder) to the spillway single track. A short climb into the gorge trail, to the creek crossing (you probably will get wet). You will run through a small village, run on an abandoned road, some nice old growth, and some ugly new growth. At mile 5.5 or so, you will hit SR73 for a 1-mile road run to the 6.5-mile section to the finish… which is 96.49343% single track and rolling. Due to the season, weather can be a factor making the Frosty a real challenge.
AMENITIES
– Homemade chili, as well as a vegetarian version, will be served after the race.
– 3 aid stations with water and energy drink will be spread throughout the course. 1 will be volunteer-operated, 2 will be self-serve.
– THIS IS A CUPLESS RACE. Bring your own cup or water bottle.
