What is OROC?
OutRun Ovarian Cancer, or OROC, is a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising ovarian cancer awareness and money for research and education. Founded in 2003, OROC events have generated funds allowing the group to donate more than $2,500,000 to ovarian cancer research and education in Northeast Ohio.
The Mission
OROC is dedicated to creating an active community of hope and empowerment for those touched by ovarian cancer through awareness, education and early detection. OROC strives to put a new face on ovarian cancer-one of hope and encouragement.
What is a Virtual Option?
Virtual event participants can live anywhere! Please feel free to invite family and friends from around the country to join you in bringing hope and empowerment to those touched by ovarian cancer. Simply register to participate and join us, virtually, to complete the 5K or 1 Mile race on your own. Run or walk, outdoors or on a treadmill – you choose! ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH JULY 13
If you would like to submit your 5K result, please click HERE. ALL VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE THEIR PACKETS MAILED BEFORE THE IN-PERSON EVENT ON AUGUST 1
