About the Event

Join our local community as we recognize Autism Acceptance Month at the Central New York Chapter of the Autism Society's annual "one step at a time" Autism Acceptance Walk!

When: Saturday, April 26, 2025

Where: Jamesville Beach Park

Time: 10:00am

How to participate: Create your own team of family and/or friends to participate or walk solo! The walk course is approximately one mile. Participants also have the opportunity to help support community programs for individuals with Autism. Fundraising is not a requirement for participation in the Walk; there is no participation fee. Participants who have pre-registered and raised at least $25 online by April 5 will receive a complimentary tee shirt at the event. As always, our main goal is to raise awareness and acceptance of Autism and its related disorders in our community. Monies raised will enable our organization to continue to enrich our community with collaborative programming, recreational opportunities, continuing education, and assistance to families seeking supports/therapies.
