RegisterThe Olympic Adventure Trail Run (OAT Run) is a point-to-point trail 12K and half marathon as well as an out-and-back 50K that traverses Kelly Ridge between the Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Washington State, all on single-track trail. Limit 130 runners per distance.
OAT Run is for trail runners who enjoy lush green forests filled with moss and ferns, towering evergreens, and spring trailside flowers. Runners will get a stunning view of the Elwha River Valley as they run by the “Living Room”. And if this wasn’t epic enough, get ready to eat, drink, and relax post-race with an amazing view of the Olympic Mountains. The after-party at Extreme Sports Park is a fun atmosphere, and racers will get hot burritos from Little Devil's Lunchbox and cold drinks, a toasty campfire, and door prizes (woot!). There will be a beer garden at the after-party as well, with proceeds to support 4PA, a local non-profit organization.
In addition to an epic outdoor experience in the far northwest corner, all runners receive a professional well-organized event, a well-marked course, hydration and snacks at water stations along the course, a great piece of custom race swag, shuttle to start (and return shuttle back to parking area / party), chip timing, race photos, and after-party at Extreme Sports Park including a hot meal and a chance to win great door prizes from our local retailers.
Bring cash or card as there will be a beer garden at the finish line, hosted by and benefitting local non-profit organization 4PA.
This race sells out every year, so don't delay registering!
This race is a friendly, community-based event, and a portion of race proceeds is donated to the Peninsula Trails Coalition (Olympic Discovery Trail) and the Peninsula Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of Washington, in appreciation for their countless hours of trail construction and maintenance on the North Olympic Peninsula.

Port Angeles is the largest city on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington, and the county seat of Clallam County. It's a great place to start for a trip to Hurricane Ridge and the rest of Olympic National Park. Outdoor sports like kayaking, biking or hiking are very popular, while the quaint shops attract shoppers downtown and the expansive waterfront provides relaxation. Beautiful Pacific beaches are nearby and the lavender fields and berry farms of Sequim beckon all summer.
