Nytårsløbet 2026 - Odense

Join the festive spirit of Odense on December 31, 2026, with the annual New Year's Run. This iconic race offers two distances: 5 km and 10 km through scenic routes around the city. Participants can enjoy a warm-up session before the start, followed by an energetic finish line celebration complete with traditional Danish kransesnakke (a tower of pastries) and sparkling cider.
The event includes unique perks like long-sleeved race shirts for early registrants while supplies last, and a chance to win exciting prizes through raffles. Race day amenities include water stations along the route and warm-up facilities at Hunderupskolen near the start/finish line. The school also offers changing rooms and showers.
For families, there's a special 2.4 km children’s race with gold medals for all participants aged 5 to 13. Parents are welcome to run alongside their kids without separate registration. All races are DAF-certified routes, ensuring accuracy in distance measurement.
