About the Event

A scenic fun run or walk on the Burlington bike path to help finish 2025 on a healthy note and provide some positive momentum for the New Year. The RunVermont NYE Run/Walk to Highlight offers out and back course distance options of 1 mile, 5K, and 5 miles. Event start time is 2:00 PM and participants should assemble near ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain shortly before 2:00 PM for pre-fun-run announcements.

This is an untimed event and there will not be bibs distributed or check in, but please register all participants, including children in jogging strollers. Participants should plan to stick around Burlington and Waterfront Park after the fun run for other Highlight festivities, including live music, the burning of Champ, and fireworks.
