NSCCL round 1 - Betley Farm

The North Staffs Cross Country League (NSCCL) is an esteemed series of traditional cross country races held across the picturesque landscapes of North Staffordshire and South Cheshire. This league comprises four challenging events, each offering both individual and team competition opportunities for runners of all ages.
For teams participating in NSCCL, there are specific age divisions with varying numbers of athletes contributing to their overall scores. For instance, Under-11s/Under-13s/Under-15s/Under-17s teams count three members each, while Senior Division 1 counts six male and four female runners. In contrast, Junior races for those aged nine through sixteen feature shorter distances tailored to their age groups.
The league's scoring system is straightforward: all four races contribute to the final standings in senior categories, whereas younger participants have their best three out of four race results counted towards their totals. This setup ensures that every effort counts and provides a fair competition structure for both teams and individuals across different divisions including Vets (Over-35s) and Vets (Over-50s).
