The course showcases rolling grass fields intertwined with smooth youth mountain bike trails, creating a dynamic challenge for both power riders and those who thrive on technical terrain. Race participants must adhere to USAC rules; all riders require a valid USAC license. Beginner one-day licenses are available at the event itself, while Cat 4 or higher competitors should purchase an experienced one-day license online through USA Cycling prior to the race. Safety is paramount: Race Directors and Officials reserve the right to cancel or modify any part of the event if necessary. Registration for NQCX opens on-line until October 23rd at 8 p.m., with day-of registration permitted up to half an hour before your scheduled race start time. Day-of fees are $40 per first race, and each additional race costs an extra $10. Entries contribute towards the Virginia CX (VACX) points series. Series champions must pre-register and email the organizer at [email protected] with their category to claim a discounted entry fee of $6.00. For those expecting a call-up or similar opportunity, pre-registration is essential. Event day registration kicks off at 9:00 AM on race day. The course address for parking directions is 1000 Lakeshead Drive in Williamsburg, Virginia. Spectators and participants can park in the adjacent grass field where youth mountain bike events also take place; clear signage will guide everyone to their designated spots. For further information or questions about VACX series standings, visit crossresults.com or reach out directly to Graham Costa at [email protected] or (757) 660-2117. About Williamsburg
Learn more about the host city, Williamsburg.
Williamsburg is a city in southeast Virginia. Settled in 1632, it was the capital of Virginia from 1699 to 1779 and in 1926, John D. Rockefeller Jr commissioned a restoration project to bring Williamsburg back to its former colonial glory. During this period, 700 modern homes were demolished, colonial buildings were renovated, and more than 400 buildings were reconstructed on their original foundations. Today, the Colonial Williamsburg district in the center of town is a popular tourist center and people visit in droves to immerse themselves in the nation's colonial history.
