The 8th Novo Mesto Half Marathon will take place on saturday November 14, 2026. The event offers three official, IAAF-measured routes: 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km, all featuring a primarily flat terrain that takes participants through the scenic streets of Novo Mesto and along the green Krka river.
The Half Marathon course covers 21.1 km with a total elevation gain of just 102 meters, making it an ideal race for both competitive athletes and recreational runners. The 10 km route consists of two laps of the 5 km course, while the 5 km route shares the first 4 km with the Half Marathon runners, offering a great experience for shorter-distance participants.
All races will start simultaneously, creating an energetic and exciting atmosphere as runners of all levels come together to celebrate the spirit of the event.
