About the Event

Experience one of Texas's fastest and most scenic ultra-marathon courses at the North Texas Ultra set for Saturday, 7 February 2026 at Fort Richardson State Park in Jacksboro. This event offers a full spectrum of distances from a 5K to a 100K, all run on the wide, soft gravel Trailway with relatively flat terrain and 550 feet of elevation gain per 15.5-mile loop, making it a prime course for personal bests. With early morning start times beginning at 6:00 AM for the 100K, the race is a key event in the Texas Ultra Series, where finisher medals combine to form a Lone Star and top performers qualify for the Big Texas Ultra Championship.

Organized by Texas Outlaw Running, the race provides exceptional value with quality shirts, collectible medals, 100K buckles, and a fully supported, friendly atmosphere.
