About the Event

Experience the North Coast 110 Night Section Recce on October 24, 2026. This unique event covers approximately 40 kilometers between Braunton Burrows and Combe Martin along the South West Coast Path. As night falls early in this section of the route, participants will rely on GPS devices or prior knowledge to navigate effectively. Support from the North Coast event team is provided throughout the journey, including refreshments at designated points via a minibus that meets you twice during your run.
Participants can choose their own transportation options, whether arriving by car from Exeter and its surrounding areas or making alternative travel arrangements. A bag with extra clothing and supplies may be left on the bus for convenience. The pace is designed to accommodate all runners comfortably as part of a cohesive group.
This recce offers an invaluable opportunity to familiarize yourself with this challenging section before tackling it in full darkness during the main event, making it essential preparation for those planning their North Coast adventure.
