The Harrier Mile allows runners of all abilities to push themselves to the limit. Run in multiple heats, our event hosts competitors from across the NYC running community. Official timing and professional photography provided.
Heats will be organized slowest to fastest based on times submitted during registration, starting at 5pm and finishing ~6pm depending on numbers.
To celebrate the Harriers' love of donuts and a tradition of destination runs, the races will conclude with a Donut Relay Mile, consisting of teams of 4 runners. Each runner will eat one donut and then complete a full lap (400 meters) of the track.
Heats will be randomized and start from ~6pm following the individual mile.
For the donut relay, your team captain should create a team when prompted during the registration process. The captain can then share the team name and password with the 3 other members of the team, who will be able to register individually (alternatively the captain can enter details for all members themselves). The $30 registration fee is to be paid by the captain, and entry fees for the other runners will be adjusted down to zero once you reach the checkout.
If you interested in running the relay but do not have a full team, please reach out to info@newyorkharriers.com and we will connect you with others looking to join in. You may run multiple legs for the same team (including running all 4 by yourself), or run in 2 different teams.
Limited entries on the day will be available for both the mile and relay.
