Start the New Year off on the right foot! Join us for the 8th anniversary running of the New Day * New Year 5k on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
Take advantage of the opportunity to celebrate the first new day of the New Year with a run/walk at our 5k run and Happy New Year Fun Run. 5k Race will start at 10 AM from Lost Rhino Brewing Company in Ashburn, VA with the HNY Fun Run starting at 11 AM. (21730 Red Rum Dr #142, Ashburn, VA)

Choose to participate in our virtual 5k, 10k, or Out with the Old/In with the New 5k/10k Challenge options anytime Dec. 31 starting at 8 AM through Jan. 31 by 11:59 PM.
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the New Day of the New Year than with running!
NOTE: The 10k will be virtual only for 2026
Inclement Weather Notice: Should we need to cancel the race due to inclement weather, all runners will be move to the virtual option, and swag will be available for pick up at a specified location in the weeks after the race.
