Glow Run: A Night of Fun and Fitness at Fort Bragg Fairgrounds
Join the glow-in-the-dark fun as we light up the night with our annual Glow Run, taking place on September 19th. The pre-event party kicks off at 6:00 pm at the picturesque Fort Bragg Fairgrounds, setting a lively tone for the evening ahead.
At precisely 8:00 pm, runners of all ages and abilities will set out under the moonlight along a scenic route that winds through the fairground grounds. The race is designed to be family-friendly, with bounce houses available for kids aged 2-16 years old, ensuring there's plenty of entertainment for everyone.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own glow sticks or other light-up accessories (BYOG) to enhance the festive atmosphere and make this a memorable night run. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, making it an inclusive event that caters to all members of your family.
Food trucks will be on-site offering a variety of delicious options for purchase, providing runners with plenty of energy before or after their race. The evening is also open exclusively to military/government ID cardholders along with their guests, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among service members and families.
Registration is limited to the first 1,200 participants who sign up by September 18th at 3:00 pm (or until sold out). Early registrants will receive a race shirt, medal, and bib as part of their registration fee of $20. Those not registered can still join in on the fun but won't be eligible for these items.
Shirts, medals, and bibs are available for pick-up at Fort Bragg Fairgrounds both Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm and Saturday starting at 6:00 pm before the race begins.
