Navy League Run

Join the Tulsa Navy League 5K Commissioning Run and 1.5 Mile Readiness Fun Run on December 12, 2026, at Washington Irving Memorial Park in Bixby, Oklahoma. This family-friendly event features a scenic course along the beautifully paved trails of Washington Irving Memorial Park, including a run over the iconic Bixby Bridge.
Participants can enjoy early packet pickup at Runner's World Tulsa on December 11 from 10AM to 6PM or race day registration starting at 7:30 AM. All runners who complete the 5K will receive an impressive medal and have a chance to win awards for top three male and female finishers as well as first overall in standard five-year age groups.
The event celebrates two significant ships named after Oklahoma—USS Oklahoma (SSN-802) and USS Tulsa (LCS-16)—and supports the crews serving on these vessels through morale-boosting programs, family support initiatives, and local youth STEM education. Your participation helps bridge the gap between our community, veterans, and the modern Navy's high-tech world.
Registration fees contribute to critical missions such as supporting sailors deployed aboard USS Oklahoma and USS Tulsa and empowering future generations with opportunities like SeaPerch robotics challenges. The event also serves as a networking hub for local leaders and veterans looking to connect within the maritime industry.
Volunteers are needed to help make this year's run a success, ensuring every participant has an unforgettable experience honoring our nation’s brave service members while supporting local education initiatives and community outreach programs.
