MWCABC 5K Run/Walk 2026

Join us on October 4, 2026, for the 28th Annual Manhasset 5K Run/Walk, set to kick off at 9:30 AM rain or shine. This year's theme is "Bloom for a Cure," celebrating resilience and hope in the fight against breast cancer.
The event has been a cornerstone of community support since its inception, raising awareness and funds through an engaging mix of running and walking routes that wind through picturesque Manhasset. Participants are invited to create personal fundraising pages to share with friends and family, turning their strides into significant contributions towards groundbreaking research and vital patient care programs.
This year's race is particularly special as it marks a major milestone in the Coalition’s history. In addition to the traditional 5K course, there will be new surprises and activities designed to enhance the experience for runners and spectators alike. The route offers scenic views of Manhasset Bay, making it not just a run but an enjoyable journey through one of Long Island's most charming communities.
Proceeds from this year’s event will support the Manhasset Women’s Coalition Against Breast Cancer, which funds research at leading institutions to improve treatment options and deepen our understanding of breast cancer. The coalition also provides essential services like the Outreach Program, offering guidance and emotional support for women facing a diagnosis or related health challenges in Manhasset and nearby areas.
