Mudgee Masters 2026

Experience the vibrant spirit of Mudgee as it hosts its annual Masters Tournament, set for October 10th and 11th. This year marks the return of this beloved event following a hiatus due to global challenges. The tournament is designed for seasoned football enthusiasts aged over 35, celebrating their mastery of the game in a picturesque setting that promises both competition and camaraderie.
The venue, Glen Willow Field and Grandstand—often hailed as the "Wembley of the West"—offers two exceptional playing surfaces renowned for their quality. This year, teams from around Central West New South Wales and Sydney will converge to compete in an 11v11 format over a total of four games across both days.
The tournament is not just about football; it's about forging unforgettable memories among friends and fellow fans. After the matches, immerse yourself in Mudgee’s rich cultural offerings. Sample world-class wines from local vineyards, explore art galleries, or simply unwind at one of the many charming cafes that dot the town. Families are encouraged to join in for a full weekend experience.
Team entries cost $500 and include up to 18 players. For those who prefer traditional payment methods, direct deposit details can be found on the event website, along with instructions for credit card or cash payments. Any queries should be directed to Ed George via phone at 0402 544 822 or email at [email protected].
