About the Event

A trail run through Mt. Kotobikiyama, said to be the birthplace of Kamiarizuki (the 'month when the gods are present'), and the Shimane Prefectural Forest's 'Wae Traverse Trail.' The first half road/forest section and the second half's 'sky run' offer a refreshing, wild course. In the final stretch you'll feel the divine spirit of Izumo through the 360-degree summit views from Mt. Kotobikiyama, Kotobiki-yama Shrine, and Ogamiiwa Rock — a beginner-to-intermediate friendly event. Entry fee: ¥7,000 (flat rate)
