Move For It 5k

Move with the To Write Love on Her Arms on April 18th. When you sign up for the 5K fundraising event in Melbourne, FL, you’ll get access to a resource hub full of introductory tools to build your mental health resilience and ways you can take action for your mental health. Every participant will receive an event shirt, bib, and medal. Following the race, every participant can participate in on-site wellness training and take-home skills that reduce stress and anxiety and build mental health resiliency. 

This event raises mission-critical funds for To Write Love on Her Arms and helps us continue to connect millions of people to mental health support each year. Together, we can inspire change—for our communities, for our loved ones, and for ourselves. If it’s your first 5K or your thousandth, we believe it’s the small steps we take that create the momentum toward healing and recovery.

3. Start building mental health resiliency through our introductory mental health toolkit.

Timetable:

Friday, April 17th from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm 
Early Packet Pickup and Registration at Running Zone.

Saturday, April 18th: Schechter Community Center (1089 S. Patrick Dr., Satellite Beach, FL)

7:00 AM- 7:45 AM: Registration & Packet Pickup

8:00 AM: Race Start!

9:00 AM: Award Presentations + Raffles

Transgender/Transsexual Athlete Inclusion & Race Competition*: A runner should enter the TWLOHA 5K event under the same sex that they declare publicly for all other purposes, with one exception. A male-to-female transgender runner may not enter as a female unless that runner is currently taking hormone treatments that are related to gender transition and has been undergoing treatment continuously for one year.  *Based on RRCA guidelines.  https://www.rrca.org/resources/event-directors/fair-competition-policies.

Fees:

Registration includes your race day entry, custom event shirt, bib, and finisher medal! When you join us as a fundraiser, your registration counts as your first donation! Raising $100 unlocks exclusive event swag and helps us continue to connect millions of people to mental health support each year. A T-shirt and finisher medal are guaranteed if you sign up before April 1st.
