Morecambe Festival of Running invites runners and their families to participate in an exciting day of racing along the picturesque Morecamde Promenade on Sunday, November 22, 2026. The festival offers three distances: a challenging 10-mile race, a scenic 10k run, and a family-friendly 5k course. All races start together at 11am from Heysham Village. The event's out-and-back courses take runners along the stunning coastline of Morecambe Bay, offering breathtaking views as participants make their way to and back from Heysham Cricket Club. The flat terrain makes this an ideal race for all levels of runners looking to set personal bests or simply enjoy a scenic run with friends and family. Upon finishing at the cricket club grounds, runners will be greeted by a vibrant atmosphere filled with post-race refreshments and camaraderie among participants. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race category, adding an extra layer of excitement for competitive athletes.
