MORE Fall Camping Trip

Bruceton Mills Fall Campout 2023 will once again take place at the serene Big Bear Lake Camplands, nestled near Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. The event is specifically designed to benefit MORE/IMBA members and their families. Membership renewal or new membership sign-ups are encouraged; current members can renew by adding a member pricing option during registration.
The campout will run from Friday through Sunday, providing ample time for participants to arrive early or stay late. To ensure your spot, individual registration is mandatory—regardless of the number of people in your tent, RV, or even if you're traveling with children. The event will be held at Big Bear Lake's Beaver Creek Village, a unique and reserved camping area after entering the main entrance.
Expect to share space in this "tent-city" style setup, as all RVs and tents are first come, first serve. The campground features wooden platforms on one side, open fields for setting up your tent elsewhere, and some unshaded areas that offer a mix of sun and shade throughout the day. Saturday morning kicks off with a hearty breakfast provided by MORE—individually wrapped burritos filled with various ingredients including vegetarian options (though no vegan choices are available). While coffee or juice won't be served, attendees can bring their own beverages to enjoy during the day. Saturday night brings the highlight of the event—a potluck dinner where participants share their culinary creations; voting and prizes will crown the best dishes.
For adult beverage enthusiasts, kegs of beer will be available on Friday and Saturday nights for your enjoyment, complementing what you might have brought from home. Remember to pack your favorites!
Pet owners are welcome but must adhere to leash rules—Big Bear Lake Camplands strictly prohibits fireworks due to past incidents where a dog ran off frightened. Please respect these regulations.
