About the Event

Join the Montgomery Village Foundation's 5K Race & 1-Mile Fun Run for a fun or a competitive experience!

This year the race will be held on Sunday, June 28th at Lake Marion Community Center, 8821 East Village Avenue, Montgomery Village and will feature professional chip timing provided by the Montgomery Road Runners Club (for the 5K only) as well as a free race shirt for the first 150 registrants!

Advanced registration is encouraged, but online registration will remain open through the start of the race. Late registration is online only through 7:30 AM from your computer or smartphone. Prices go up on race day, so register early & save!

It is a large, planned suburban community, developed in the late 1960s and 1970s just outside Gaithersburg's city limits. Montgomery Village's population was 34,893 at the time of the 2020 U.S. census, and it is a part of the Washington metropolitan area.
