RegisterCome join the excitement of Montgomery’s longest standing competitive running event! Montgomery Jubilee Runs are now set for May 16th, 2026. This iconic Montgomery event features competitive runs/walk on a 8K USATF certified course and the Peggy Lanier 2-Mile.
The River Region Runners' Club is proud to plan, organize, and host the 2025 Montgomery Jubilee Run in its 47th year. This year's event will raise funds for the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches. The runs will be staged from historic Old Alabama Town.
The 8K running event attracts runners from all over the River Region, Alabama, and beyond! In addition to the 8K, there will be a 2-mile run/walk in honor of Peggy McLendon Lanier.
Courses: The USATF 8K (AL19019JE) certified course will be well marked. The 8K (map) and 2M go through historic downtown Montgomery and the surrounding neighborhoods with an exhilarating downhill finish to Old Alabama Town!
Aid Stations: Water stations will be located along the courses.
Traffic: Traffic control will be provided by the Montgomery Police Department.
Chip Timing: The 8K and 2-Mile runs/walk are chip timed events. All awards are based on race gun time per USATF Rule 245.1.

Note: No Duplication Of Awards!
Race packets will not be mailed. They will be available for pick-up May 15th (3 - 6 p.m.) at Old Alabama Town (301 Columbus Street) and on race day, May 16th, from 6:00 a.m. until 7:15 a.m. Only late packet pick-up on the day of the race for registered runners. Packets will contain your official race number and Jubilee Run shirts.
Race numbers must be worn visibly on the front of the runner for the duration of the race. Failure to do so can result in disqualification.
Race results will be posted as soon as available on the RunSignUp Jubilee Run website, Montgomery Jubilee Run Facebook page, and riverregiontiming.com. Individual results will also be sent to your cellphone/email if you selected that option when you registered.
Shirt Notice: To be guaranteed an event shirt, you must pre-register online or with mail-in registration form by 5/8/26. Runners who sign up at packet pick-up or on race day are not guaranteed a shirt. Any leftover shirts available at packet pick-up will be offered on a first come first served basis.
Cancellation Statement: This event will occur rain or shine. The Jubilee Runs reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In the event of cancellation, there will be no refunds.
