Montessori Mavericks Pumpkin Run

Join the Montessori School of Florence for the Montessori Mavericks Pumpkin Run, a festive morning of movement, family fun, and community spirit. The event includes a timed 5K Run/Walk through the streets surrounding the school and Timrod Park, followed by a family-friendly Pumpkin Run. Runners, walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs are welcome. Proceeds support the Montessori School of Florence. Stay after the races for the school’s third annual Chili Cook-Off.

• Packet pickup 7:30-8:15 a.m. at Montessori School of Florence (race day only)
• 5K Run/Walk 8:30 a.m.
• Pumpkin Run 9:30 a.m.
• After the races Third Annual Chili Cook-Off
• Event concludes 12:00 p.m.

Course Map / Route

• The 5K starts and finishes at Montessori School of Florence. Turn-by-turn course directions are provided below; a separate graphic map is not currently available.
• Start at Montessori School of Florence and turn right on Warley Street.
• Right on Cedar Street; continue to Franklin Drive.
• Left on Wannamaker Avenue; left on Waters Avenue.
• Turn left into the Timrod Park trail before Cherokee Road and cross the bridge by the tennis/pickleball courts.
• Left on Timrod Park Drive; right on Spruce Street; left on McQueen Street.
• Left on Jerome Street; right on Warley Street; left into Montessori School of Florence to finish.

Registration Fees

• 5K Run/Walk $30
• Pumpkin Run $10 (No awards for this race)
• Late registration $30 for the 5K; $10 for the Pumpkin Run
