Experience an unforgettable morning along the picturesque Mississippi River in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Harriet Island location offers breathtaking views of the downtown skyline as you run or walk through this scenic 5K course. This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages and abilities, with both a 5K race option and a free Kids Run area designed to keep young participants engaged.
Post-race festivities include an awards ceremony where top male and female finishers will be honored with cash prizes: $200 for first place, $150 for second, and $100 for third. Additionally, there are special age division awards for 5-year intervals, ensuring that every runner is recognized according to their performance.
For the enthusiastic older runners, this year introduces exciting new categories including best performances among masters (ages 40-49), grandmasters (ages 50-59), and super grandmasters (ages 60+). The event also features a special award for the runner who achieves the highest age-graded score.
All proceeds from the race will support cancer recovery research through Hamline University's Rene and Brian McCoy Cancer Recovery Research Monarch Fund, making this not only an exhilarating run but also a meaningful contribution to important medical advancements.
