Mission College Monster Dash & Bash 5K

Dive into the heart of Mission College for an unforgettable experience with the Monster Dash and Bash 5K Walk/Run, held at 3000 Mission College Blvd, Santa Clara. This engaging race offers participants not just a run through scenic college grounds but also a glimpse into the vibrant academic community that thrives there.
Registration fees are affordable and vary based on age groups and registration dates:
- For individuals aged 17 & under: $30 (through October 9) or $35 (race day)
- For those over 18 years old: $40 (until October 9) or $45 (on race morning)
For the younger racers, there’s also a Kids Trick or Trot Run for only $25 through October 9 and $30 on race day.
Early packet pickup is available to those who register by Wednesday, October 7. Packets can be collected at Mission College's Welcome Center Desk from Friday, October 9th until 7pm; otherwise, they will be accessible starting at 7:30am on the morning of the event itself.
The race day unfolds with a packed schedule:
- Registration and check-in open at 7:30 am
- The Kids Trick or Trot Race kicks off at 8:45 am
- Followed by the start of the main 5K Run/Walk at 9:00 am
- Post-race activities, including a beer garden for adults (21+), open up from 9:30 am
Awards will be given out to first, second and third place winners in various age categories:
- 9 & Under,
- 10-14,
- 15-19,
- 20-29,
- 30-39,
- 40-49,
- 50-59,
- 60-69,
- 70-79,
and over 80.
Registration perks include an official race shirt, a bib number, a Mission College drawstring bag, and a finisher’s medal. Participants also receive one ticket to the beer garden or non-alcoholic beverages if they're under age.
The course is fully supported with water stations along the route and medical assistance available should it be needed. The event concludes around 10:30 am when awards are presented in an inspiring ceremony celebrating runners of all ages, highlighting their achievements as well as Mission College’s success stories.
