Millions 4 Menopause 5K

This will be the second year for this powerful event, which has grown from an initial gathering into a significant fundraiser for awareness and education around menopause. Since its inception, it has drawn participants who bring both their physical strength and financial contributions to support research and initiatives aimed at empowering women through early education about menopause’s symptoms and effects.
Course and conditions will be set in Prospect Park, known for its firm yet slightly soft surface that provides a comfortable run or walk. The 5K route is marked with clear signage along the park's well-maintained trails, offering scenic views of the surrounding landscape as participants make their way through this historic green space.
Starting early at 7:00 am, runners and walkers will enjoy an average wind speed of about 13 km/h, which could feel brisk in the morning air. The humidity is steady around 68%, making it a moderately comfortable day for outdoor activities with no significant rainfall expected.
The race offers both a run and walk option; participants can choose to join either event, all under the umbrella goal of raising awareness about menopause.
