About the Event

Fancy some serious elevation gain and breathtaking views? It's happening again on Sunday, December 14th: the Mine Tour is back! As always, we'll combine the crisp winter air with a touch of mining history, impressive views from the slag heaps, and delicious local delicacies. As is tradition, we change the route every year. This time, we'll start in Heusden-Zolder and finish in Beringen. There's something for everyone: A local loop of 8 km 15 km from Heusden-Zolder to Beringen for those looking for a bit more of a challenge with some elevation gain 20 km Terril Challenge for the real altitude hunters And for the persevering ones: after last year's great success, we are once again offering the 30 km course – a tough challenge with a fair amount of climbing. We look forward to welcoming you at the start for a fantastic finale to the Besox Nature Trail Series 2025!
