The Metahqua 24 will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Ross County Parks District (3663 Walnut Creek Rd) in Chillicothe, OH. Options include a 100 mile solo (32‑hour limit), 24 hour solo, 24 hour 4‑person relay, 10 km (3 loops), and a 2 mile youth race (single loop, ages under 18). The course is a beautiful 2 mile trail with 0.7 mile up (200 ft gain), 0.7 mile down (200 ft loss), and 0.6 mile flat, mixing single‑track and grass trails — all runnable and well groomed.

All participants must follow event rules. Parking is off‑site at Walnut Creek Campground (2342 Walnut Creek Rd, Chillicothe, OH 45601) with a $10 per vehicle charge (cash, exact change). Carpooling is highly recommended. Each paid vehicle receives a $5 credit toward a future RunFluent event or race day swag. A shuttle runs from the campground to the race site (1.5 miles).
The event is hosted thanks to Ross County Parks District. The 100 mile solo is new for 2026, as is the 10 km distance. The 24 hour race now ends exactly at 24 hours; runners who complete 100 miles within 24 hours still receive a buckle.

Chillicothe is a city in Ross County in South Central Ohio and is the county seat of Ross County. In the 1800s, it was designated as the capital of the "eastern section" of the Northwest Territory. Later the State Constitutional Convention was held in Chillicothe, and in 1803, Ohio entered the Union, Chillicothe became the first state capital of Ohio. The name of the city was derived from a Shawnee word meaning "principal town". It is located along the Scioto River and Paint Creek.
