May'Etik Trail

The May'Etik Trail (MET #9) will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, starting from the Salle de l'Aquarelle (route de Changé, Saint Jean sur Mayenne, France), with additional starts in Montflours and Saint Germain le Fouilloux. Distances include MET 80 (approximately 80 km, 1,500 m D+, starts at 5:00 AM, for runners born in 2006 or earlier, limit 200 runners), MET 40 (approximately 40 km, 750 m D+, starts at 9:00 AM from Montflours, born 2006 or earlier, limit 200), MET 20 (approximately 20 km, 350 m D+, starts at 2:00 PM from Montflours, born 2008 or earlier, limit 300), MET 10 (approximately 10 km, 220 m D+, starts at 3:00 PM from Saint Germain le Fouilloux, born 2010 or earlier, limit 300), a 10 km hike (starts at 3:05 PM, no bib, no timing), and children's races (1,500 m for ages born 2015‑2016; 3,000 m for ages born 2011‑2014; discovery course for ages born 2015‑2019).

All participants must follow the official regulations and sign the éco‑traileur charter. A valid FFA license or a PPS medical certificate (valid on race day) is required. Minors need a signed parental authorization. Reusable bibs are used. Bib pickup is on Friday, June 5 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 6 from 4:00 AM onward (at least 30 minutes before each start). Free shuttles are provided from Saint Jean sur Mayenne to the start lines (parking is very limited at Montflours). Carpooling is encouraged.

• Time barriers for MET 80: Camping d'Andouillé (km 44) at 1:00 PM; Sacé (km 66) at 5:00 PM (based on 5.5 km/h). Runners missing these cut‑offs will be removed from the course. No time barriers for other distances.
• Mandatory gear: personal cup (all distances); survival blanket (1.40m x 1.20m) and charged mobile phone (MET 80 and MET 40); 1L water (MET 80 and MET 40), 0.5L water (MET 20); emergency food supply (MET 80 and MET 40); headlamp for MET 80 (until km 22).
• Aid stations: MET 80 has 3 full stations and 2 liquid‑only; MET 40 has 1 full and 2 liquid‑only; MET 20 has 2 liquid‑only; MET 10 and rando have 1 liquid‑only. All distances have an arrival station. No cups are provided — runners must bring their own gobelet personnel.
• The event is organized by St Jean Sur Mayenne Sports & Nature. Proceeds support "Solidaires en Peloton" fighting multiple sclerosis (donation option during registration).
• Registration opens Monday, January 5, 2026 at 6:00 PM, exclusively online via Espace Compétition, closing Saturday, May 30, 2026 at midnight. Late cancellations with a medical certificate may be refunded (internet fees non‑refundable).

Children's races: 1,500 m (born 2015‑2016), 3,000 m (born 2011‑2014), discovery course (born 2015‑2019), starting at 5:30 PM at the Aquarelle site. Podiums for boys and girls by age category. The 10 km hike is untimed with no bib and no awards.

• Services at the finish: showers, toilets, refreshment bar, food trucks (reservation recommended), evening dance party (apéro concert at 6:30 PM, bio dinner at 8:00 PM).
• Runners must respect private property (open only on race day for runners only, public strictly prohibited). Outside assistance is forbidden except at aid stations.
• Medical teams and a medical vehicle are present. Runners must assist any competitor in difficulty. Abandoning runners must notify a race official and return their bib.
• In case of severe weather or safety concerns, organizers may modify or cancel the event with no refund.
