On November 28, 2026, participants will navigate through six grueling workout stations and runs that challenge strength, endurance, and determination. The event is set along Rockford Street in Matamata, where competitors can expect a high-energy atmosphere filled with cheering crowds.
The course features an array of obstacles including ski ergs, burpees, broad jumps, rowing machines, farmers carries, sandbag lunges, and wall ball throws. Each segment alternates between 1-kilometer runs to keep the adrenaline pumping throughout the day. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or new to such events, Mata-ROX offers an inclusive challenge for all levels.
Registration opens on September 28th and closes on October 26th, giving participants ample time to prepare for this epic event. Choose from individual male and female categories, mixed doubles, high school men’s and women’s doubles teams, each with unique weight standards tailored specifically for the competition's intensity.
