Pricing and Registration Tiers
The event follows a tiered pricing structure that rewards early registration. Currently, the Standard registration phase is active until April 5, 2026. Starting April 6, a Late Fee will apply to all categories, and On the Day registration (April 19) will see prices rise to their maximum, such as A$77.50 for the adult 10km. Junior (ages 10-17) and Kids (under 10) categories are offered at reduced rates across all distances. All finishes take place at the water's edge, opposite the Steyne Hotel.
Course Terrain and Safety
Participants should be aware that the routes include varied terrain to provide a authentic coastal experience. The 10km and 5km routes include stairs and approximately 100 meters of rough or off-road terrain. The 2km route has been updated to be more challenging than in previous years, featuring a fairly steep climb up College Street. Because the event takes place in a National Park and high-traffic pedestrian areas, all participants are encouraged to view the specific route maps at manlyfunrun.org to prepare for the elevation and surface changes.
Kids Nippers Obstacle Course
New for 2026, the Manly Lifesaving Club is hosting a free obstacle course for children aged 13 and under. Located on the sand directly in front of the finish line at The Manly Corso, this activity runs from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. While the obstacle course is free for 2km participants and spectators, parents must register their children in advance to ensure the organizers can manage safety and logistics smoothly on the beach.
