Malta Zurrieq Half Marathon and 10k

The Express Trailers Zurrieq Half Marathon and 10K, organized by the Malta Marathon team on behalf of the Zurrieq Wolves Athletic Club, offers runners an opportunity to experience one of Malta's longest-running races. Established as a half marathon second only in age to the Malta Half Marathon, this event has been a staple for local athletes since its inception.
In 2013, organizers expanded the offerings by introducing a 10K race alongside the traditional half marathon distance. This addition caters to runners of all abilities and experience levels, providing both long-distance enthusiasts and those looking for a challenging yet shorter option with a variety of choices.
Most recently, in 2023, the event welcomed young athletes with the introduction of a 1.5km kids race, fostering an environment where families can participate together and encourage future generations to take up running.
